Pricing
Below are tables
explaining my prices, which I believe to be fair based on the prices of
other

Terms
1. Hair will be used from my supply.
If I don't carry the hair a customer wants, he or she is
responsible for providing the
hair. You can see my current supply here. My
preferred choice of hair is nylon, which Hasbro uses on both their
vintage and new
ponies. I carry a large selection of nylon hair in wide variety
of
colors, and chances are I you will find what you are looking for! :-)
Every once in a while one skein
of nylon hair is not enough to rehair a pony, most often in foreign
ponies, which sometime seem to have more plugs. I do my
best to use just one skein of hair, but every so often I need to use
1.5 - 2 skeins. In this case a small additional charge will be
added to the total. Customers will be contacted before rehairing
if I believe a pony will need more than the usual amount of hair. Curly
hair will only require one row of plugs; however, the cost remains the
same due to the difficult workability of pre-curled hair.
2. Customer is
responsible for the cost of shipping both ways. Shipping is
usually
very minimal, and I will ship any method requested. Seventy-five cents
(0.75) is addeded onto to shipping to cover the cost of packing
materials. I ship
worldwide! Insurance is
required for U.S. customers, but not outside the U.S. I am not
responsible for packages lost in the mail
if overseas insurance in not purchased. I take extreme
care in the packaging of commissions, which are always sent in
boxes! :-)
3. Payment must
be made by one of the following methods: Non-Credit
Card Paypal, Money
Orders, International Money Orders,
Western
Union transfers, or USD cash at your own risk. I may accept a
Personal Check if we have done business before or if you have extensive
positive feedback at one or more pony-related boards.
4. A note on damage: Whenever
possible, I do not use
an Xacto knife to break the glue seal of a pony's neck; I first
attempt to remove the head using a method that is non-damaging
to the pony. However, G3
heads in particular can be extremely
difficult to remove, and it is often necessary to cut through the
lip. When
the
neck is securely reglued (optional, see order form) any damage that has
occurred usually disappears. A customer can certainly remove
the head him- or herself before sending the pony! Also, please
note that removing the head of a So Soft pony may alter the
flocking of that area. By sending me
a
pony, the customer agrees that I
am not
liable for
any damage that may occur to the pony (neck or otherwise).
5. A note on
communication: my email is mlprehairing @ comcast.net (remove
spaces; they are included to prevent spamming). I
will always reply to emails within four days. If you suspect
an email problem, please contact me through the Arena
(preferred) as StrawberryFair, or the Trading Post as Strawberry Fair.
