Thank you for your support of Pet Food Shock...
	I began the website five years ago as a cumulation of my own investigation into the pet food industry. I was shocked at what I discovered—poor-quality ingredients, little industry regulation, and closed-door policies within companies.  I spent years doing research, writing companies and publishing my findings on my site. While it was never fully completed, the site had over 1,000 visitors and recieved glowing positive feedback. During this time, the quality of pet food improved drastically. While there are still existing issues, many companies have eliminated by-products,
switched to human-grade ingredients, and welcomed inquires into their processes. As a busy college student, I have made the difficult decision to take down Pet Food Shock due to time restraints and a marked improvement in the pet food industry. I would still encourage all consumers to still read ingredient lables, ask questions of the companies they buy from, and choose their pet food with caution.  Not all pet food is made alike!  Most of all, I would like to thank all those who supported me and who found my website useful.
